About the Author

Leonard D. Dobson started his professional career in the early 1960’s following a five year course at Guildford School of Art, Surrey, UK.

A thirty five year career in graphics, during which Leonard was awarded a Life Fellowship of the Chartered Society of Designers - the highest professional qualification in graphic design. In 1982, and in his spare time, Leonard became a fully registered full healer-member of two world spiritual healing organisations, gaining experience and knowledge through his twenty five years as a practising spiritual healer.

In 2007, a chance photo he took of a fall of snow, changed his direction in life and he took up the study of UFO’s and the paranormal. It was Leonard’s experience in graphics and his constant search for a greater spiritual purpose in life, that combination which led him into taking a unique and different angle into exploring the hidden world of the paranormal.

In 2008 after analysing hundreds of photographs, chance again prompted another change of direction. Leonard had amassed a substantial amount of photographic evidence of ‘Orbs’, this was nothing new; as Orb photography is a worldwide phenomenon that is posted all over the Internet. However, Leonard’s findings led him to develop a theory that some Orb’s were not “Beings of light“, whereby one could gain enlightenment (as some self-appointed guiding lights would have us believe), no, Leonard’s theory suspected that some Orbs were ‘Morbific’ in nature (disease carrying).

Leonard felt that if his theory was correct, then places like hospitals would be rife with Orbs and other paranormal entities.  Two  photographic session conducted undercover, at a couple of hospitals in the U.K. revealed nothing - not a single Orb in sight! But, Leonard was not to be put off, and it was this necessity to prove his theory, that eventually led him to discover the world’s first ‘Digital Pictogram’ - a simple digital imaging technique that revealed the ‘hidden-world’ of the paranormal within a digital photograph - in other words Leonard’s discovery made the Invisible - Visible!

Leonard’s graphic imaging technique was to put his photographs under extreme scrutiny, and this meant working at far greater resolution of pixels of files on his computer, enhancing light and contrast controls, creating layers and cutting out images in order to achieve maximum definition of virtually invisible images so he could present his findings to the world. Leonard had found what he had been looking for, and his Digital Pictograms delivered the Truth with the Proof!

Later that year in September, 2008, Leonard and his wife took a late holiday to Menorca, Spain. On a visit to the Church of Santa Maria, in Mahon, Leonard came across a life-sized statue of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Leonard’s spiritual healing background came to the fore as he knelt down to say a prayer and to pay his

10 cents into a box, which automatically lit an electronic candle upon receiving a coin.

The statue was hand-painted, and overhead lighting cast long shadows over all who stood before, rivers of blood had trickled down the tortured body of Christ, the moment gripped one’s soul and the cold hand of death seemed to transport Leonard back to that day in infamy. Leonard’s mind went blank, filled with remorse and starved of inspiration as the Light-of-the-World was dimmed. ‘10 Cents for the World’, was all Leonard could say, as he dropped his ten cents coin into the box. A candle lit up, and Leonard’s prayer was answered, but it wasn’t for a whole year later, upon his next visit to the very same church, that ‘10 Cents for the World’ would become the title of his two books…
